Encouraging Creativity

Looking for different uses of one item encourages creativity and inventiveness, one of the skills that helps children be ready to learn.  You will be surprised by how many different things children can imagine and make from a simple house pattern.  They thrive on your encouragement.

Try This:  Share the book/story of "The Three Little Pigs."  Have your child make origami houses as illustrated on this website:  http://earlylit.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/three-little-pigs.pdf
What else can they make from these houses?
